Valentines

Valentines Mansion was built in 1696/97. Until 1912 the Mansion and its park were privately owned - the home of wealthy middle class families and their servants.

The house and park both suffered from neglect and disregard during the 1980s and 1990s. But, fortunately, both the park and Mansion were restored during 2006 -2009 thanks to grants of several million pounds from the Heritage Lottery Fund and some additional funding from the London Borough of Redbridge.
