Music, Merriment & Mince Pies

Friday 2 December, 7.30 pm

The Bra-Vissima Ladies Choir and Reg Wheeler and Friends will entertain us in seasonal style. Tickets £10 members, £12 non-members. To book please apply to Barbara Norcaro, 93 Westbury Road, Ilford IG1 3BW (020 8478 7248) enclosing your cheque made payable to the Friends of Valentines Mansion and a stamped addressed envelope.

Wine and Cheese Tasting

Friday 10 February 2012, 7.30 pm

We are running this very popular event again. Wine and cheese specialists from Waitrose at South Woodford will present a selection of wines and cheeses, providing us with an interesting and informative commentary on the samples. The wines will be from Waitrose-sponsored vineyards and the cheeses will be matched to the wines.

Tickets will be on sale in January 2012.

May Fair

Saturday 19 May 2012

This will be held in the Mansion and on its surrounding lawns. There will be the usual mix of heritage and craft stalls, live music and historical talks.

Entrance will be £2.00, with children going free.

Friends of Valentines Mansion Annual General Meeting

Wednesday 13 June 2012, 7.30 pm in the Mansion

Grand Hotel Cream Tea

Thursday 21 June 2012, at 2.00 and 3.30 pm

Join us in the drawing room for a traditional strawberry cream tea whilst we are entertained with live music.
