Learning - education and Valentines Mansion

Once the interior of Valentines Mansion is restored, it is hoped that adult classes will be held on subjects such as local and social history, art and architecture, cultural studies, literature and environmental topics.

The Mansion has also been used for three Saturday schools on Valentines Mansion through the ages by Georgina Green and Jim Hetherington to raise money towards the restoration.

It is hoped that some time will be given over to school parties once the Mansion is fully restored. Teachers will be on hand to provide sessions linking into the National Curriculum in line with each school's timetable.
